Local not-for-profit Bayview Retirement Community is hosting a grand opening for its new café, The Hub, this Monday from 10am-2pm. The Hub at Bayview is designed to provide a gathering spot for local Queen Anne and Uptown seniors (55+), where people can connect and stay engaged with others in the senior community.
The grand opening will include refreshments and live music by lute player, Mary Lord. In addition to a hot coffee and a cozy urban setting, café members will be able to participate in a variety of exclusive programming. Membership is free, though “at will” donations for coffee are always welcome.
The Hub is located on the south side of Bayview, facing the Queen Anne Driveway, just one north of Roy Street, off Queen Anne Ave N. Parking is available in the Bayview garage.
Join in the celebration on Monday, and plan your visits to The Hub going forward, their regular hours will be Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, from 10:00am to noon.
